The mission of the Richardson Mayor's Internship Program is to build and empower its future workforce by providing motivated high school students with meaningful, eight-week paid internships at businesses, nonprofits and government entities. These life-changing internships – for rising seniors who attend Richardson ISD or live in the City of Richardson – immerse young people into a professional work environment, expose them to an array of careers and opportunities, and allow them to gain new insights as they prepare for college and careers.
  • Our mission at Richardson ISD is to ensure our students are superbly prepared to succeed in their years beyond high school, whether they’re headed to college or enrolling in career-training programs. The Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program provides our students – who live in Richardson and Dallas – with out-of-the-classroom, professional experiences that are invaluable in every way. We are proud to partner with the City of Richardson, Richardson Chamber and business community on this dynamic program!

  • The Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program is one of the best ways for businesses to invest in the youth of Richardson while helping to build our future workforce. In addition to our renowned Telecom Corridor, Richardson has an array of companies, small businesses and startups with a wealth of expertise and counsel to share with these outstanding young people. Best of all, the internships serve an enriching experience for both employers and students.
